Take your skills to the next level at City College of San Francisco!
We have a place for all students and their interests. We promote racial, gender, social, and economic diversity including on-campus clubs such as The Coder’s Club and She Who Codes.
The Cyber Security Club is a student-run organization at City College of San Francisco.
To prepare students for careers in tech and cyber security through technical and non-technical trainings. To offer focused workshops and trainings on security concepts, soft skills, team and leadership skills. To promote diversity and inclusion. To provide access to job opportunities and more.
The Cyber Security Club supports student competition teams who compete in the Western Regional Cyber Collegiate Defense Competition (WRCCDC), Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition (CPTC), and the National Cyber League (NCL), which offers students an opportunity to prepare for employment as security professionals. Students learn to work in teams to secure network infrastructure, develop defensive strategies, and make threat assessments in order to protect business operations from cyber attacks.
When it comes to programming, do you love developing server side architecture? Or are you curious and want to learn? The Cyber Security Club will also support this group to create a space for students who are interested in diving into the server side of programming. Students will have the opportunity to develop server side skills, understand best practices, code-collaboration, and work together as a team on creating projects. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
